Goethe University’s Multi-Faculty, Multi-Disciplinary Orientation Program
The Program
GoetheLab is an orientation program for potential Goethe University students. Championed jointly by various departments of the university, participants are given an opportunity to get to know research and teaching at Goethe University on key global topics. In doing so, they gain insights into the breadth and importance of the subjects.
From its inception, Goethe University has been shaped equally by social sciences, humanities and natural sciences. The GoetheLab program highlights this multidisciplinary in research and teaching up close. Not the individual discipline, but the necessary totality of approaches for dealing with socially relevant questions.
How you benefit
You will meet scientists from the various departments, who will open up the respective perspectives of the disciplines and show you how modern research and teaching are networked in an interdisciplinary manner.

Goethe University Frankfurt
Founded in 1914, Goethe University is one of the most renowned and third largest university in Germany with a student enrolment of over 48,000, including over 7,600 international students from some 136 different countries.
